Talitha Kumi’s notable achievements in the 8th Luth MUN-Conference

Under the patronage of Bishop Dr. Sani Ibrahim Azar, the Education Office of the ELCJHL organized the 8th Annual Lutheran Model United Nations Conference this week at our school, Talitha Kumi. A total of 60 students from the four Lutheran schools participated as delegates, representing countries from around the globe. The students collaborated over a span of two days during the conference to devise solutions for the real problems that our world faces, utilizing skills such as public speaking, diplomacy, compromise, leadership, and more.

This year’s conference was centered on the theme “Building Bridges, Not Walls.” During the closing ceremony, students were recognized with awards for Best Delegate, Honorable Mention, and Shout Out. We are extremely proud of these students, and we believe they are the bridge builders of tomorrow.
